Based on five basic principles: breathing, the placement of the pelvis, ribcage, shoulders, head and neck, Pilates helps to create an understanding of how to use your body in the most efficient and co-ordinated way possible. This 'all gain, no pain' approach promotes health and wellbeing in the longterm by concentrating on mobility and stability.

The focus of this work is precision but also fun, with the aim of keeping your body healthy, strong and injury free. Exercises may be adapted to suit all levels from beginner to advanced with intensity increased over time once your body adapts to the exercises.
