Yoga
Yoga combines postures, (Asanas), breathing, (Pranayama) and relaxation. This creates a 'mindful' movement practice enabling you to better understand your body. The postures (Asana) are not focused on stretching but rather on creating the appropriate balance of strength and flexibility for you. The emphasis is on exploration and 'play'.
Mindfulness is a fundamental aspect of yoga. It is explored through yoga practice by maintaining awareness of the present. By letting go of your thoughts, your mind becomes calmer leading to a greater sense of emotional wellbeing.
